Garden Horizons Quests — Daily & Weekly Rewards Guide (2026)

Complete Garden Horizons quests guide: all daily and weekly quests, IGMA Maya quest chain, seed pack rewards, and the fastest ways to complete them.

Garden Horizons Quests — Daily & Weekly Rewards Guide (2026)

A lot of players sleep on the quest system in Garden Horizons, which is a mistake. Quests are one of the best sources of free seed packs in the game, and the Shillings rewards add up to a steady income stream on top of your farming. You're already harvesting, selling, and planting anyway — quests just pay you extra for doing it.

The system has three layers: daily quests from Steve, weekly quests with bigger rewards, and the limited-time IGMA Maya quest chain that only runs during events. All three are worth doing consistently, and the IGMA chain in particular has some of the most valuable locked content in the game.

Daily Quests

Daily quests reset every 24 hours and are designed to be completed in a normal farming session. They're fast if you're actively playing, and the cumulative value of completing them every day is significant.

Quest TypeGoalReward Harvest X cropsHarvest a set number of cropsShillings Sell crops worth $XTotal sell value in one sessionShillings Water plots X timesManual or sprinkler-assisted wateringSmall Shillings Plant X seedsPlant a set number of seedsCommon Seed Pack

The "Plant X seeds" quest giving a Common Seed Pack is the one to prioritize — even Common packs have some value, and you're planting anyway. The watering quest is the weakest; if you have sprinklers set up it often completes automatically.

Quick completion tips for dailies:
  • Use fast-growing seeds (Carrot, Strawberry) to hit harvest counts quickly
  • Have multiple plots running simultaneously to hit both harvest and sell quests in the same session
  • Don't sit on harvested crops — sell immediately to count toward sell-value quests
  • Weekly Quests

Weekly quests reset once a week and offer meaningfully better rewards. They take more effort but are absolutely worth completing.

Quest TypeGoalReward Earn $X total from sellingLarge sell target over the weekUncommon or Rare Seed Pack Harvest X Lush cropsHarvest crops with Lush qualityRare Seed Pack Complete X daily questsFinish a set number of dailiesBonus Shillings + Seed Pack

The "Harvest X Lush crops" quest is the most valuable — it rewards a Rare Seed Pack and nudges you toward keeping mutation-capable crops in play. Lush crops need to reach full growth without being harvested early, so plan your sprinkler setup to maximize size and let things grow out fully.

The "Complete X daily quests" weekly is easy free value — just showing up and doing dailies naturally progresses it.

Which weekly to prioritize: The Lush harvest quest. Rare Seed Packs have a 10-pull pity and include genuinely useful rare plants. Save some of your Lush-potential crops specifically for this rather than selling them immediately.

    IGMA Maya Quest Chain

Maya's quest chain is the most rewarding content in the quest system, and it's time-limited. She only appears during the IGMA Event (a 14-day arc), and her quests reward IGMA Seed Packs — the only source of 7 exclusive event plants you can't get anywhere else.

Maya Quest TypeObjectiveReward Research deliveryBring X mutated crops to MayaIGMA Seed Pack Weather studyHarvest X crops during specific weatherIGMA Seed Pack Research chainComplete Maya's full quest sequenceExclusive IGMA plant seed

The quest chain is progressive — earlier quests unlock later ones, so start talking to Maya from day one of the event. The final reward (the exclusive IGMA plant seed) is locked behind completing the full chain, which can take most of the 14-day window if you're not focused.

IGMA Seed Packs have an 8-pull pity system, which is among the best pity rates in the game. Even if you're not chasing the specific event plants, the pack value alone makes Maya's quests worth doing.

Important: When the IGMA Event ends, Maya leaves and her quests are gone. There's no catch-up mechanic. Don't skip days during an active IGMA Event.

    The Quest Refresh Problem

This is worth saying plainly: manually refreshing the quest board with Shillings is almost always a bad trade. The community has noticed — on r/gardenhorizons, a post titled "Remove shillings from the quest board" has over 100 upvotes with players describing the same experience: spending a large amount to refresh, then receiving Shillings as the reward. Net loss on the transaction every time.

The refresh cost scales with your progression, but the rewards don't scale reliably with it. The cycle of "refresh hoping for a seed pack, receive Shillings instead" burns players out faster than almost anything else in the early game.

How to actually use the quest board: take what's there on the natural daily and weekly resets. Complete quests that fit how you're already playing. Never pay to refresh unless you're in the middle of an IGMA Event and Maya's offering a quest that materially changes what's worth doing that session.

    Quest Completion Tips

Use multi-harvest to blow through harvest count quests. Fast crops like Carrot can complete a grow cycle in a few minutes with a full sprinkler stack. If you need to hit a harvest count, plant a batch of fast seeds rather than waiting on slower premium seeds. Save Lush crops for the weekly quest. The "Harvest X Lush crops" weekly quest requires crops to reach that size quality. Don't harvest your biggest, healthiest crops early for a small daily reward — hold them and let them hit Lush, then harvest for both the weekly credit and the higher sell price. Stack sell quests with event timing. If Admin Abuse is happening and you're about to sell a big mutated harvest, time it so your sell session also counts toward your weekly sell-total quest. One big sell can knock out multiple quest tiers at once. Do Maya's chain quests before farming dailies each day. During an active IGMA Event, check Maya first. Some of her quests have specific conditions (weather, mutation type) that might change how you farm that day.

    FAQ

When do daily quests reset in Garden Horizons?

Every 24 hours. The exact reset time may vary by server, but it's a rolling 24-hour window from when the quest was issued, or a fixed daily reset depending on server configuration.

Can I complete multiple daily quests at once?

Yes — many quests share activities. Harvesting crops counts toward harvest quests, selling counts toward sell quests, and planting counts toward plant quests simultaneously. Plan your session to hit all of them in one active farming run.

Are IGMA quests available all the time?

No. Maya and her quests only appear during the IGMA Event, which is a limited 14-day arc. Outside of events, there are no IGMA quests to complete.

What's the best seed to use for harvest-count quests?

Fast-growing common seeds like Carrot or Strawberry. With a full sprinkler stack they complete quickly and let you hit harvest counts without wasting premium seeds on a grind task.

Do quest rewards carry over if I don't claim them?

Unclaimed rewards should stay in your queue briefly, but don't leave them too long — especially dailies that will be replaced by the next day's quests. Claim as you complete.
